I have just redeemed my code, but I can’t find my book?

Can I get a refund?

It depends.

Did you purchase an eTextbook Access Pass with a code at the bookstore?

If so, you'll need to check with your bookstore regarding their return policy.

Did you purchase the item online, directly from FlatWorld?

If so, please note that our return policy varies by format purchased:

Online Access Only – You may get a refund if purchased within 5 days.

Online Access + eTextbook Download – You may return the book within 5 days of the purchase, as long as you did not download any files.

Full-Color Print – We print our books on demand, based on individual orders. Therefore, we do not accept returns for a printed textbook, unless the book was not shipped within the promised timeframe or if our printer shipped the wrong book. If that’s the case or if you have other questions regarding returns, please contact us at support@flatworld.com or 877.257.9243. If you choose to return an item, without our written authorization, returned items may be destroyed and no credit will be given.

Purchasing directly from the FlatWorld website guarantees you the lowest cost.

What is the difference between “Online Access Only” and “Online Access + eTextbook Download”?

Online Access means that you must be connected to the internet and logged into our website to read the book on our platform. Your Online Access expires one year after purchasing.

Online Access + eTextbook Download gives you full access to the online reading platform and also includes a downloadable file that can read offline. You can download it at any point during the year and keep the electronic file for as long as you like.

What is the status of my print book? I have not received it yet.

FlatWorld textbooks are printed on demand and that process takes 2–3 business days before shipping. Please account for that time, in addition to the shipping method you select. You can check the status of your order at anytime by visiting your Student Dashboard. If you think your book is delayed, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team and we will follow up with our printer. In the meantime, don’t forget that you have immediate online access to the entire book.
